Make your own candles at Isle of Skye Candle

A day trip from Oban, via Loch Ness to the Isle of Skye. Received with Scottish warmth from the manufacturer of our scented candles. To our surprise, we were allowed to pour the candles ourselves, which we were able to sell again from the Netherlands a week later.

Staffa, Fingal's Cave

The 3 islands tour from Oban is highly recommended: Mull, Iona and Staffa. Book in time! Of course you have to be a bit lucky with the weather, but I have done this tour 3 times now and will do it again. If you want to spot Puffins (puffins), Staffa is recommended (depending on the season). Iona is beautiful for history lovers. The centuries-old abbey is not to be missed.

Of course Edinburgh is fantastic, but Glasgow is our favorite. Tip: book a tour with tasting at The Clydeside Distillery. oh yes... you are only allowed 1 liter per person on the plane... I should have known earlier ;-)
