Helvellyn is one of Cumbria Crystal's traditional collections whose origins are firmly rooted in Jacobean design. The elegant flutes and olives pattern was designed by Lady Grania Cavendish in 1976.

This collection is favored for formal dining and entertaining by most British Embassies, Consulates and Residences around the world. As such it has been featured in many films and TV series as it represents timeless elegance and an aspirational lifestyle.
The name Helvellyn shares its name with one of the most important and spectacular mountains in England's stunningly beautiful Lake District National Park, close to the Cumbria Crystal Factory.

This series of glasses can be seen in James Bond 007, played by Piers Brosnan.
