For whom, when, and why

This hot water bottle is also available in a smaller 500ml size in the same MacLeod tartan; the 2-liter version retains heat longer and is suitable for bed or couch, while the 500ml version is more compact. In addition to these Harris Tweed hot water bottles, we also have a wool Herringbone version from Tweedmill in the collection.

What is Harris Tweed?

Harris Tweed is a handwoven wool fabric from the Scottish Outer Hebrides, legally protected under the Harris Tweed Act and known for its quality and durability.
